I went to The Barn in Groton for the first time last night to check out the Country on Deck writers’ round—and I was so glad I did! The ambiance was super chill and welcoming, with a great crowd and even better live music. Big shoutout to Josh Mattei for organizing such a solid event—every performer brought something special to the stage. While I was there, I ordered the Sausage & Veggies Pizza and it totally hit the spot. It came out quickly, had the perfect crunch, generous toppings, and was super filling. I even had leftovers the next morning (still good, just not as amazing as fresh out the oven—but that’s expected!). Overall, great food, great vibes, and a great spot to support local talent. Definitely worth checking out if you haven’t been yet!
It was my first time at the Barn and I am so glad I made it there! Fun , buzzy , great live music and you can actually sing with the band on request! “Farmers lager” beer is really nice and fresh and yummy pizza!! I definitely will come back!!
It was ok. Band was great, all out of sandwiches, so got 5 teriyaki wings. They were mediocre at best. However, the drinks were good.
What a fun night! Loved the vibe here! The band was great and the drinks were amazing. Highly recommend for a night out or a date night! Had a blast!
David was fantastic and welcoming. Able to give suggestions and eager to please on the bar side. The place is clean, music was nice on a Thursday night. Food is on the abysmal side but I didn't come here for food. Dave did mention he has some things to serve but nothing noteworthy. Waiting to go back on a night with a cover at the door.
Dan the man at the bar was awesome. Ryan was huge setting up a table for us. Great venue. Saw mystic dead- great show. recommend the Haze is for Horses IPA
